BIOGRAPHY
Leo Martera is producer, drummer and Dj, born in Florence, Italy. Due to all his dedication, sensitivity and passion for music, Leo Martera released with important labels and his output are supported and played by reference artists, such as: Luciano, Noir, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Roger Sanchez, Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Basti Grub. Along his dynamic path, Leo Martera has been the creator and founder of two original projects: the 2TooDrums, duo of disc jockey and drummer producers, and the Human 80s, production group related to electronic music and clubbing, with which he produced and remixed Fashination, cult song by David Bowie.
He realized the official Rmx Do you think of me singed by the world-renowned artists Barbara Tucker and Inaya Day (Recline music). He released with Resopal Schallware, German label releasing all forms of modern electronic music, and King Street New York, one of the finest and most respected labels releasing dance music today. Some of his remixes have been published by the most influential Spanish electronic music label Stereo Productions.
In 2017 he has been the Music Director of the clubs Zela-Tatel in Madrid, Miami and Ibiza, founded by Cristiano Ronaldo, Enrique Iglesias, Paul Gasol and Rafa Nadal. He has been a judge in the Italian first edition of the music show "All together now" broadcast in Italy on Channel 5 and conducted by Michelle Hunziker and J-Ax. He is a well-respected underground drummer and still plays in the band Neon, reference group of European electro dark-wave. He also played as drummer for Planet Funk band, recording The Illogical Conseguence album (EMI music) and took part to their European live performances. In 2018 he worked on the artistic production of the album Toccato Dal Fuoco Redux by Anhima, in which he also appears as drummer and composer of two of the 14 pieces of the album.
Leo Martera is resident Dj at FullUp club and Rex in Florence. He performs in many important clubs around Europe and in the most exclusive parties of the Italian fashion community.

Leo Martera è produttore, batterista e DJ, nato a Firenze, in Italia. La sua sensibilità e passione per la musica hanno condotto Leo Martera a collaborazioni importanti e produzioni supportate e suonate da artisti di rilievo nel panorama della dance music, come Luciano, Noir, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Roger Sanchez, Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Basti Grub. Durante il suo dinamico percorso, Leo Martera è stato ideatore e fondatore di 2TooDrums, duo di produzione formato da Dj/Batteristi, e Human 80’s, gruppo di produzione legato alla musica elettronica e al clubbing, con il quale ha prodotto e remixato "Fascination", cult song di David Bowie.
Ha realizzato il remix ufficiale del brano "Do you think of me?" interpretato dalle cantanti di fama mondiale Barbara Tucker e Inaya Day (Recline music). Le sue produzioni sono state pubblicate da Resopal Schallware, etichetta tedesca dedicata a tutte le forme di musica elettronica moderna, e King Street, storica etichetta newyorkese, ancora oggi considerata una delle label più rispettate nell’ambito della dance music. Inoltre, alcuni dei suoi remix sono stati pubblicati dalla più influente etichetta di musica elettronica spagnola, la Stereo Productions.
E' stato direttore musicale nei locali Zela e Tatel di Madrid, Miami e Ibiza di proprieta' di Cristiano Ronaldo, Enrique Iglesias, Paul Gasol e Rafa Nadal. Ha partecipato in qualita' di giudice alla prima edizione italiana del music show "All together now" in onda su Canale 5 e condotto da Michelle Hunziker e J-Ax. E’ stimato batterista dei Neon, gruppo di riferimento dell’electro darkwave europea. Ha suonato come batterista anche per i Planet Funk, registrando l’album The Illogical Consequence (EMI Music) ed esibendosi nei live europei del gruppo, e inoltre per gli Anhima, con cui ha inciso tre album dal 1997 al 2014. Nel 2018 si è occupato della produzione artistica del disco Toccato Dal Fuoco Redux degli Anhima, nel quale compare anche come batterista e compositore di due dei 14 pezzi contenuti nell’album.
E’ resident dj al FullUp club e al Rex Firenze. Si esibisce nei club europei e nei party più esclusivi della moda italiana.
